2023 Cadillac LYRIQ announces for the first time an all-electric future

The Cadillac LYRIQ 2023 represents a pioneering moment in its history Cadillac Illuminates the future of the brand and redefines fundamental concepts of luxury cars. The beginning of an important new era, the brand was running ahead of schedule with customers requesting to book orders starting in September 2021, with initial availability beginning in the first half of 2022.

At launch, LYRIQ will be available with pioneering technologies and motorized performance capabilities enabled through custom vehicle electrical engineering. The 12-unit, 100 kWh battery pack and Ultium rear-wheel drive system delivers Cadillac power of 340 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque – the Cadillac’s range is estimated at over 300 miles on a full charge.

LYRIQ offers high-speed DC fast charging for public stations at 190 kW, allowing customers to add an estimated 76 miles of range in about 10 minutes of charging time. The flagship 19.2kW charging unit can add up to 52 miles of range per charging hour for home charging. The electric vehicle uses regenerative braking to help maximize electric driving efficiency with the next generation of Regen on Demand variable technology, along with the comfort of single-pedal driving.

The interior design is clean and straightforward, with an emphasis on secondary and tertiary design elements, including intricate patterns laser-etched through the wood over the metallic decor, which have never been done before. Customers will choose Satin Steel Metallic or Stellar Black Metallic exterior colors and Sky Cool Gray or Noir exterior colors. The staple is the large curved LED display, and all components are ingeniously integrated, blurring the lines of separation between technology, lighting and décor.

Cadillac LYRIQ 2023 is expected to start production in the first quarter of 2022, with a starting price of $ 59,990. It will be produced at GM’s Spring Hill, Tennessee assembly facility.
