In the last year we’ve all been at home a lot, and some are still around, so I think it’s a good time to try some DIY things.
Get homemade body wash.
This one I found online and researched and it’s great if you have sensitive skin (just make sure it’s diluted!).
Liv Taylor said In the luster You take two baths a week and use a full packet of Epsom salts and a can of baking soda (or hydrogen peroxide – more on that). Here ).
It says it makes you sweat out of all the toxins and junk in your cells. She said this natural pediatrician told her about it when the kids got sick. Amazing.
So I had to dig deeper. Is baking soda in the shower a thing?
It turned out to be so.
After an interview Liv Day In the lusterThey dig deep and talked to James Hardwick On his holistic approach to self-care products:
“First, let’s talk about using baking soda as an exfoliant for your face and body. Whole Foods sells a small box for less than a buck. Places like Target and CVS sell Arm & Hammer Baking Soda boxes as well, but I’m not sure if it’s as pure or pure as the things they are You will find it in natural food stores.
You can taste the difference if you brush your teeth with it – something I highly recommend (I’ll come back to this). While showering, I pour a pile of baking soda into my hands and scrub everything – my face, hair, body, and the actual shower – with it. It’s a little rough, but it feels good … and maybe I’m lucky, but my skin is happier when I wash it with something as simple as baking soda.
It doesn’t seem to dry out my skin or remove healthy oils, and baking soda is stress free – it’s no big deal if I accidentally swallow some of it, and waste it (it’s very inexpensive), plus it’s environmentally safe! Moreover, baking soda is a odor neutralizer, and it’s good for cleaning products (not something I do in the shower). We see? Multipurpose, simple and cheap. “
After delving deeper into myself, I found this recipe in action The fun of my life is messy And give it a try.
Baking soda body lotion
What you will need:
♡ bowl (anything that only works these Looks very nice in the bathroom)
Baking soda (apparently Bob Red Mill Clean and do not contain aluminum)
♡ water
♡ spoon
♡ Optional: a few drops of essential oil (I like lavender because it calms me down)
directione:
♡ Fill half of the bowl with baking soda.
♡ Add water slowly.
Stir in a few drops of essential oil.
♡ Gently stir and add more water or baking soda according to the consistency you have. (You want it to be a paste).
♡ Continue adding the water and baking soda until the bowl is full and forms a paste.
How to use it:
Put a little of it in your hand and rub it on your body in the bath.
You should know that the baking soda is exfoliating, so it will feel a little rough (I love it this way). If you are using it on your face, rub in gently!
This is an inexpensive, effective, fast, easy, and environmentally friendly little trick.
As I mentioned, I love the lavender essential oil in this one because it promotes relaxation. I tend to shower at night, but you do here. Grapefruit or tangerine are perfect to give you energy if you want to shower in the morning.
Preparing erythema with prof Rock Salt Night LightAnd Hanging eucalyptus, And my DIY lavender scrub makes me feel like I’m at a spa. Then I crawl into bed with the CBD Gold Pen from Bilqar. One puff and I’m totally relieved.
