This is so random but I had to make a post on it because I can’t stop using this moisturizer you guys. I mean….
It’s my favorite moisturizer I’ve ever used…I think. It does something to the skin I’ve never seen before.
My favorite esthetician in San Diego, Staci Christie, recommended it to me. If you don’t know her you can meet her This publish– She’s a skincare expert. Anyway, she cared about this Epicurin Colostrum Illuminating Cream.
First, if you are not used to colostrum, It is a breast fluid produced by humans, cows, and other mammals before breast milk is secreted. It is highly nutritious and contains high levels of antibodies, which are proteins that fight infections and bacteria. { via }
So it’s not actual milk, but it’s very rich in nutrients. It’s just packed with tissue repair agents and immune benefits. Needless to say, it really helps in the development of the child. In fact, when I had Zaza, many pros said that if you don’t breastfeed it’s okay, but try to give your baby colostrum if you can.
So let’s get back to why I put this on my face every day. lol.
My obsession with colostrum actually started before Staci recommended this cream. My night nurse told me to put it on my skin if I had rashes or cuts, so I was always intrigued.
The moisturizer I was using is from Epicuren and makes your skin dewy and supple. When I say softer I mean the softest I’ve ever encountered. The main components are colostrum (!!!), aloe vera oil and citrus peel. These are all incredible things if you have dry to normal skin.
What I do is my first use skinny secret Hot Miss Roller Because I want my skin to be as tight and plump as possible always. Then I put a dime-sized amount of cream in my hand and massage my face with it.
To finish I always use skinny secret ice queen oil. It is infused with raspberry, raspberry and pomegranate seed oils. Then I will use Elta MD SPF or a Sunscreen contains caffeineAnd the entire formula leaves me the perfect canvas for my makeup.
Sidenote: If you haven’t tried a caffeinated sunscreen, you should. It gets the stuff extra plucked and acts as a primer. I’ve been using it for years so it’s a ride or die, trust me.
I digress, this post is about the colostrum moisturizer. lol. It is a real gem. Another way to use that is when you’re done with the night. Clean your face, get a little snow roll, spray a little mist, add a colostrum moisturizer, dab on some ICE QUEEN face oil and crawl into bed like a wet rat. You will wake up glowing.
The reviews for Epicurin Colostrum Illuminating Cream amazing. I had to check them out to make sure I’m not alone in this obsession, make sure enough people are raving that their husbands have noticed, that it works on mature skin, and that they like the consistency…I mean it sounds like 5 stars all over.
Another thing I love about this cream is that it doubles as an eye cream. Honestly I’m not a big fan of eye creams because they give me milia (more on that over here ) But this is not so.
Odor !! she’s perfect. In addition, the cream is not too heavy, it is very light. I’m probably on my tenth bottle.
Yes, I totally recommend you to go and put colostrum on your face. If you have just given birth and are breastfeeding your baby, just squeeze your nipple and get the colostrum and rub it on your face. Can you send me some too?
Speaking of breastfeeding, would you be interested in publishing a post on my breastfeeding journey? Let me know in the comments below.
Peace, love and colostrum.
