Interestingly, the UFC president also added that the winner of the Lyon vs Colby match would go on to face Camaro Osman in the UFC Welterweight Championship. “I think what we do now, with what happened to Khuzmat, we are looking at Colby against Lyon. The winner of that fight will fight Osman next.” Dana White added that the fight between Leon Edwards and Colby Covington makes sense now. The UFC chief also provided props to Rocky for a fight against the 15th-ranked fighter in the form of Chimaev. He added that the UFC is ready to show the respect Edwards deserves, “That’s what makes sense now. This is the fight. Listen, for a guy like Leon, Leon accepts to fight with a 15th-ranked man and he’s brutal. Nobody wants to fight this guy.
