Christian Cage wrestled his first singles match in over seven years in the final episode of AEW Dynamite. Christian emerged victorious at the end of a tough wrestling match against Frankie Kazarian, and the former WWE Heavyweight Champion was rightly praised for his performance. Christian Cage spoke to Shaquille Mahjuri from Canada and revealed how Edge responded to the AEW Dynamite match. Edge was staying at Christian’s house, and they watched the match again together. The R-rated star was really happy with Captain Charisma and even complimented his former AEW team partner for his AEW debut. Christian felt his AEW debut wasn’t any better, and even Edge was on the same page. ”Actually, I’m staying at my home. Yes, because apparently Smackdown and Raw are here in Tampa, so we watched it together. He was very happy for it. Lee and he was complementary to him. Of course, we’re both kind of nitpicked and give all the other constructive criticism and those kinds of things. But I think, for the most part, he felt the same way I did. I don’t think it could have been better for the first time. Christian said.
