And feel free to add your favorite nut butter.
So far, I’ve tried almond butter, cashew butter, sunflower butter, cinnamon peanut butter, and chocolate peanut butter.
You can make frozen yogurt three different ways—either in an ice cream maker, using a high-speed mixer as a mixer, or simply by freezing the mixture in a large bowl and stirring every twenty minutes or so.
I used the blender method for the froyo peanut butter in the pictures and the freezing and stirring method for the ones in the video below.

The recipe is adapted from this Homemade frozen yogurt recipe and my keto ice cream.
- 2 cups Choose plain or vanilla yogurtزبادي
- 1/2 cup favorite milk
- 1/2 cup Peanut butter, or non-allergic
- 1/4 Teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup Selected sweetener (see note below)
- If you are using plain yogurt, add 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
-
Feel free to use your favorite sweetener, such as pure maple syrup, regular sugar, coconut sugar, or erythritol without sugar. Or, skip the sweetener and mix it with bananas or ripe dates, to taste. If you are using a liquid sweetener, skip the milk of your choice.Blend the ingredients until completely smooth. If you have an ice cream maker, move it according to the machine’s directions. If you don’t, you can either freeze in an ice cube tray and later blend the frozen ice cubes into a high-quality batter or food processor until completely smooth or you can freeze the mixture in a bowl and take it out to stir every twenty minutes (be sure to scrape the sides of the container while stirring) until become thick and soft. The third method will not be quite as smooth as the first two, but all three methods give delicious results! Due to the lack of preservatives or gums, frozen yogurt has the best smooth and creamy texture the day it was made. However, you can technically freeze leftovers for a few weeks in an airtight container, thawing at least ten minutes before eating. View Nutrition Facts
