How to make watermelon pops

Once you’ve chopped up the melon and put popsicle sticks in it, you can start dipping!

  • Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments. Stir every 30 seconds.
  • Let the chocolate cool for just a few minutes before dipping.
  • Take each cube of watermelon and dip in the chocolate until the chocolate is roughly half of it. You can use a spoon to help spread the chocolate over the melon.
  • If you want to add a topping, sprinkle it now while the chocolate is still slightly melted.
  • Place it on a baking tray lined with a piece of parchment paper.
  • Place the baking tray in the freezer for 2 hours or until it freezes.

After a few hours, you will have delicious fresh watermelon balls! You can prepare a large batch of them in about 10 minutes. And not only is it fast but also inexpensive! You can make one of these pops for about 10 cents depending on how much watermelon you get. And you can feel good about letting your kids eat more than one because they are so full of nutrients.
