Beef steak with tomatoes, red onions and balsamic

This summer grilled steak recipe is fresh, delicious and a great way to enjoy summer tomatoes. Season the tomatoes and red onions with salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil and top with any mixture of fresh herbs you have on hand, such as basil and oregano.

How long do you cook steaks on the grill?

Turn the grill over high heat and cook the steak for about seven minutes on each side to get a medium-rare steak. The internal temperature should be 135 degrees, and for a medium steak with a warm pink center, cook to 145 degrees. After removing the steak from the grill, let it rest for five minutes before slicing it.

What do you serve with grilled steak

Grilled sirloin will be delicious with a side dish Baked potatoes with lemon and parsley And the asparagus. Here are some other side dish options Grilled corn salad with feta cheeseAnd the Orzo pasta salad with grilled vegetables, And the Milk mashed potatoes. You can also serve steak and tomato as a salad over mixed greens or arugula.

Differences:

  • Replace balsamic vinegar with red wine vinegar.
  • Replace the red onions with shallots.
  • Add the avocado to the tomatoes.
  • If you can’t find sirloin or London roast, use an iron steak.
  • Serve tomato mixture over chicken or salmon.
  • If you don’t have an outdoor grill, you can use one or buy an indoor grill pan (This is what I’m usingستخدم).
