This healthy chocolate smoothie is made with a few natural ingredients – no food dyes, artificial flavors, or high fructose corn syrup!
McDonald’s raised Game Shamrock Shake.
In recent years, they have introduced several drinks in the form of Shamrock, including McCafé Shamrock Chocolate Chip Frappé, Shamrock Mocha, Shamrock Hot Chocolate, Oreo Shamrock McFlurry, and Chocolate Shamrock Shake.
While McDonald’s new shakes may sound appealing, it hides beneath the picture-perfect cherry and mountain whipped cream lurking in unhealthy and potentially dangerous ingredients like high fructose corn syrup, artificial flavors, Yellow 5, and Blue 1 Lake.

Shamrock Hot Chocolate: Prepare the recipe below, using an unfrozen banana, then heat it on the stove or in the microwave. Or, for a banana-free version, add 1/8 teaspoon of pure mint extract to this Hot vegan chocolate recipe.
Shamrock shake swirl: Prepare a portion of the Clover Chocolate Shake recipe, divide it between two glasses, and place it in the freezer while you prepare your regular healthy Shamrock meal (the recipe linked directly above).
Take the cups out of the freezer, and pour the green shake over the cup of chocolate for a chocolate shake smoothie!

- 2/3 Glass Favorite milk
- 1/3 Glass Canned coconut milk, Creamer, or extra milk of your choice
- 1 Frozen banana (For free bananas, try this one Avocado smoothie)
- 2 1/2 Teaspoon Cocoa or cocoa powder
- Few 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 Teaspoon To 1/4 teaspoon of pure mint extract
- Favorite sweetener, as you like
- Chocolate chips, My choice
-
To prepare the recipe, you just need to mix all the ingredients until completely smooth. Pour into a cup and enjoy! Notes: Use pure peppermint extract, not imitation or peppermint. Use 1/4 teaspoon if you want a stronger mint flavor. The bananas should have at least begun to turn brown before they are peeled and frozen. Use coconut milk for a richer, creamier taste (or you can add a pinch of avocado), or use your favorite milk for more juice. They are both good!View nutrition facts
