Before swimmers can enjoy water slide fun, there are a few steps in advance to realize the water slide. The creation of a water slide in seven steps:
Water Slide Rentals and Bounce House Rental from Inflatable Party Magic, They are your Event Specialist and party rental and provide more than just Bounce Houses to rent.
1. Wishes & requirements
From standard elements from product line to specific design visions, all layouts begin with a list of the customer’s wishes, maybe in consultation with the architect or consultancy. What capacity should a slide be able to handle? What is the target audience; Does a family slide or an exciting tire slide, for example, suit the bathers better? What are options in terms of speed, color, and themes desired? What multimedia elements do they add to entertain the target audience? In good consultation, they eventually arrive at a package of wishes that they can work with.
2. Design
Industries in-house designers translate the client’s design wishes into a digital slide design. They take into account the right balance between tension & safety and appearance & functional possibilities. They work towards a design that both represents the wishes and guarantees comfortable & safe use.
3. Construction
They work together with experts for some parts of the process. The safety standards for slides are high, so they are happy to be advised and checked by an independent party to realize a safe slide.
4. Final design
After the design has been adapted back and forth to an optimal slide course and good construction, the design can be finalized. The architectural & installation-technical details can be drawn up.
5. production
They also work with experts for the production process. The construction on which the water slide rests or hangs is made of steel. At the same time, they have the polyester produced according to the supplied design by their permanent water attraction manufacturer, which has more than 25 years of experience with this. This is done via the so-called ‘hand lay up’ technique, in which the waterslide parts are built up layer by layer, by hand. A high-quality gel coating is placed on the mold, and then a couple of layers of glass mats using polyester resin will be laminated onto it. This ensures a solid whole. The cured glass fiber reinforced polyester is finished with a protective layer for optimal protection against swimming pool water.
6. Assembly
In this phase, everything (literally) comes together: all parts are assembled and assembled. They install the whole steel construction. The polyester components are constructed on the floor into segments of 3 to 4 4 pipe components. Then these parts are mounted on the steel structure and together. Hot-dip galvanized mounting material is used for this. The seams between the polyester parts are made waterproof with crown tape and possibly finished with an adhesive paste. Then the complete slide is adjusted until it is just right, and finally, the brand new water slide gets a thorough cleaning.
7. Testing
Before the water slide can be opened up to bathers, it is extensively tested to ensure correct operation and safety. Firstly, the water attraction is tested for functionality: water is connected to it, and the entire track is checked again. They then ask an independent party to carry out the legally required security check. The Quality Mark Institute is such a party, for example. Often this party has also been involved earlier in the process as a consultant in the design. All points of the realized attraction are checked, including the construction, mounting method, and materials used. Of course, “test drives” are also made to test the sliding experience. After approval, the inspector will eventually issue a certificate, and the water slide may be delivered.
