How to check your eligibility for 2021 budget support schemes

0

In April of last year, the State Technology Agency (GovTech) and several government agencies launched a website that helps Singaporeans find details about the various grants and funds they may be eligible for.

Named Go anywhere supportIn, it is a comprehensive portal that lists all financial support packages available to Singaporeans who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Users just need to complete a simple survey to find out which assistance programs they are eligible for, including the initiatives recently announced during the 2021 budget.

This helps simplify the search process, providing more convenience as users no longer have to navigate and address eligibility criteria for each system.

For example, the COVID-19 Recovery Grant (CRG) provides temporary financial support to low- and middle-income workers (both employees and self-employed people).

For those who have lost their jobs and / or are on leave without pay, they will receive up to SGD 700 per month for three months.

Meanwhile, those who have lost their income will receive up to S $ 500 per month for three months.

There are also some grants and funds that Singaporeans automatically qualify for, such as a GST voucher.

All eligible Singaporeans will receive an additional S $ 200 in June 2021, plus a regular GST voucher – cash (to be paid every August) to help low-income Singaporeans with their daily living expenses.

Since April 2020, SupportGoWhere – part of the LifeSG initiative has been seen – 2.5 million hits. Find out which grants you are eligible for and where to apply Here.
