Hana says What do you like about your appearance?: “My front teeth had a chip on it from a playground accident when I was young enough to swing my knee on monkey bars (why do I feel so hard now?!). Throughout my years in orthodontics as a teen and dentistry as an adult, they tried to convince me to fix it, but I always refused. I like that my teeth are a little tangled up; it makes me feel like I’m still mischievous and nothing good.”
says Florence Funniest game to play with kids: “My teenage son and I just went on a glorified vacation without WiFi. We spent the whole week playing a game of our own making: One says ‘I think of a word,’ and then the other person says any word. Then the person who thinks of the word gives one clue per turn. For example, “No, this is not my word, but my word also begins with a letter”, or “No, this is not my word, but you can also eat my words”, or “My words have the same number of letters in this word” – really any clue you want I’d say we guessed the actual word in about ten clues at a time. Ridiculous, fun, and no equipment needed!”
