Lately Michael and I have been lucky enough to hang out with some of our favorite housewives The slim podcast HIM & HER. I’m a huge fan of Housewives and Michael pretends he isn’t watching, but I can see his eyes pop out of his head from the corner of the room every time I watch an episode. laughing loudly.

Today I wanted to share with you some tips from Lisa Vanderpump, Meredith Marks and Heather Jay. To be real, these episodes should really be listened to, but I wanted to post some of her tips on the blog as well because I’ve always wanted this to be a resource for you.

In this post, you’ll get a sneak peek at podcast episodes with Lisa, Meredith, and Heather.

Life tips from your favorite Real Housewives:

Lisa Vanderpump

Lisa Vanderpump is an icon. If you haven’t heard of her then she’s the former superstar The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. We were lucky enough to record her podcast episode at Villa Rosa and it was amazing. She told us her life is so busy running restaurants and businesses that her home needs to be a sanctuary.

If you’ve been reading the blog of the past couple of years, you know I’m pretty much attached to this. That’s why I’m all about my meditation station & indoor fountain.

Lisa shared some of her tips for creating a beautiful space that you want to be in even if you’re in a bedroom.

♡ flowers: She loves flowers, but knows they are ridiculously expensive. Even if all you can stand is carnations or picking wildflowers, or just one rose, the flowers can brighten up a space.

♡ light: She is a huge fan of lighting and so am I. Just one candle at dinner time can change the atmosphere. If you’re in a small space that doesn’t have a lot of natural light, Lisa suggests placing mirrors near windows to double the space and create more light.

♡ go out: Especially if you live in a small space and spend a lot of time at the computer, Lisa thinks exercising and being outside is crucial. Not only is exercise important to her, but she also loves to passively multitask! You already know I’m all about this. Answering emails while walking on the treadmill, and listening to podcasts while walking are ways to make your exercise time faster, but also more efficient.

Meredith Marks

Meredith Marks from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City And I must say I loved the first season.

Meredith went through some relationship hurdles on the show but was very stoic and stable through it all. When we got to interview her on the podcast, I really wanted to pick out tips on the relationship of the brain.

♡ Try not to let the kids take all of your focus: Meredith and Seth got all of her kids back and the only thing she regrets is how they shifted their focus away from marriage. It is difficult but important when you have children to keep in touch with your partner and to be aware of what is going on with each other.

♡ Communication is a must: It is very important to talk and spend one time with your partner. Meredith talks about how she and Seth would be together, but they’re not actually present and focused on each other. Even just a half hour of talking and really paying attention to each other can make all the difference.

♡ You have a positive mindset: Look for the bright spots in adversity and focus on the positive, not the negative. It’s important to take a breath, to understand what’s going on, whether it’s in your marriage or work, and to understand where people come from before you allow your emotions to take over. Controlling emotions prevents the situation from becoming ugly and ugly.

Make sure to listen to full episode Where Meredith talks about her healthy routine, BTS on filming and beauty tips and tricks.

Heather Jay

If you look up “living life on your own terms” in the dictionary, Heather Jay’s face will be right there. Heather is another one of the stars Housewives of Salt Lake City And her story is touching.

She’s appeared on the podcast to share her story and in her episode she talks about what it was like growing up Mormons, the raw facts of Mormons, life after divorce, and how to persevere when life throws you curveballs.

heather podcast episode It is interesting and inspiring and for anyone who wants to create their own path.

Like I said, Lisa and Meredith heatherThe podcast episodes are very good so be sure to watch them.
