Speaking to reporters on Thursday, President Biden said he had not yet seen “any evidence” of any collusion between the Taliban and ISIS. The Islamic State Khorasan (Khorasan), affiliated with the Islamic State in Afghanistan, claimed responsibility for the bombings. He said more opportunities to evacuate Americans, as well as Afghans who worked with the United States, could be provided “through cooperation with the Taliban.”
