We are back for Part 2 of the Cabo series.
If you missed the first part which was a complete breakdown of my clothes, be sure to check it out Here.
There were a lot of, let’s say “unique” (LOL) things that happened on this trip when it came to traveling with a baby so I decided to dedicate an entire post to things that could make it easier.
Simple disclaimer: I’m not an expert!! This is just what I do. Don’t listen to me because I know Jack Petty. I just share what works for us. Now that that’s out of the way, let’s get into it.
Things you must have for traveling with a child:
♡ Sippy cup كوب
This is a good sippy cup I find myself constantly giving it to Zaza because it doesn’t leak on my diaper bag. It’s only $6 and she can sip it around every corner because it has a weight on the end of the straw. Also, there is a lid/straw type cap which is key to avoid germs and leakage.
It’s lightweight, easy on kids to carry, and Zaza has a bright pink color so it’s easy to find deep in my diaper bag (if you’re a mom, you know what I’m talking about)
We like to give it juice, water or coconut milk, it’s BPA-free and you can put it on the top rack of the dishwasher (we use straw cleaner too).
If you’re into a “mom and me” situation, you can always get a Hydro Flask for your child. Zaza has Pink one with straw cover And the silicone cover that protects the bottom when you drop it a million times a day.
♡ Serenity Kids Bone Broth Puffs
These puff snacks with me all the time. I literally don’t go for a brisk walk without them. I mean, if those aren’t with us, forget about it. Zaza loves them. Her favorite is broccoli and spinach.
They’re savory, not sweet, so they have 0g of sugar, and they’re made with bone broth, olive oil, dried organic broccoli, spinach, kale, parsley, lemon, thyme, garlic, onion, and rosemary.
You should know that there are no fillers (such as rice and wheat) which can be difficult to digest on a little tummy.
If you haven’t heard of it before Serenity KidsThey specialize in high quality baby food. All of their ingredients are ethically sourced, the vegetables are 100% organic, and packed with healthy fats. Their focus is on nutrient density and renewable farming and all of their packaging is eco-friendly. And get this… they’ll even mail you a prepaid envelope, so you can send the used bags to recycle for you. It just doesn’t get any better than that.
Serenity Carr, founder of Serenity Kids appeared on the blog not too long ago where she shared all her tips for getting ready to have a baby. Be sure to Check it out here.

♡ Lots of snacks
We pack a lot of other snacks like blueberries, cucumbers, watermelon, avocados and tangerines, but specifically I always like to eat them. This is apple crisp snacks. Zaza thinks this is a dessert, but it actually contains only one thing: organic apples.
Do yourself a favor and throw yourself some extra bags because I bet you can’t stop eating them.
♡ Download some shows
Judge away, judge away. the king lion On my phone the stove recently saved the day. (I have two phones, one for work and one for playing, and I have two phones that save my ass in a pinch.)
Hillary, who’s on my team, swears story bots on Netflix for her son. He loves it and has greatly expanded his vocabulary. So the next time we’re flying on a plane, I’m going to download that for Zaza.
♡ specific playlist
Zaza loves Bossa nova (shock) but I also have a special playlist I created for her filled with Disney songs and French lullabies. She’s been listening to this playlist since she was a little girl, so naturally it calms her down almost immediately.
Her absolute favorites are songs from Pinocchio althoug. When you wish for a star & I have no restrictions They are two of her favourites.
Even songs you wouldn’t expect on Pinocchio The soundtrack, which has no lyrics, is really cool. those that are called clock sequenceAnd the cat theme & blue fairy These are really nice background songs. It just reminds you of going to Disneyland with the Dole Whip and the extra-large pickles and corn dogs, you know? It gives you every feeling of nostalgia.
♡ Be cool – it’s just another day
When we travel we try to maintain a calm atmosphere and not give the whole ordeal too much energy. We act like “It’s just another crazy day!”
We try to keep our vibe light and airy, and that helps when I’m very conservative with it. It feeds my energy, so if I get scared, it freaks out.
♡ Other essentials:
+ diapers (Oh my gosh, make sure you remember the diapers)
+ Mess Free Markers & Coloring Book
+ Plastic Bag (If there’s a bar/explosion stand, food leftovers, dirty wipes, or soiled silicone plates, throw them all in a plastic bag to sort later. Trust me, you don’t want banana peels and a little lump floating around in your diaper bag)
In the end, preparation is key. Oh man, it really saves your life when it comes to traveling with a baby.
If all else fails, head to the bathroom to fix your makeup and let yourself deal with your significant other. Let’s be honest: traveling with a child is no joke.
Please please share all the hacks when it comes to anything baby related I need all the help I can get.
