No repeat in 2021. For the third time in three races in the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season, a new driver stands atop the podium, with William Byron honoring a Dixie Vodka 400 at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. This victory was Byron’s second in his career, leading 102 races of 267 laps after starting at 31st place. Denny Hamlin, the shaft babysitter who walked in on Sunday, was subjected to an unauthorized reshuffle and started in the back of the field due to the abuse. Despite this, Hamlin found himself fighting for the lead at various stages of the race, but a speeding break in a pit road brought him back, as he basically ended his day. A fair amount of race, finishing in 20th, sports news followed live racing updates and highlights of every cycle of the NASCAR Cup Series race at Homestead on Sunday.
