NASCAR Truck Series drivers will take the green flag on the Daytona International Expressway on Friday at 7:30 PM EST. NextEra Energy 250 will begin the global 2021 camping truck series in NASCAR’s largest stage, and NASCAR Truck Series drivers will compete in 22 races with championship determination during the seven qualifiers at the end of the season. It will be the 22nd season that Nascar Truck Series drivers open their season at Daytona, with drivers of the Nascar Truck Series Grant Infinger and Austin Hill winning the last two truck races of the series in Daytona, with Invenger taking the checkered flag last year. Deegan, Ford’s development driver, finished third in the ARCA Series last season with four places from the top five and 21 from the top ten. She finished second in her career in the ARCA race in Daytona. Hailie Deegan will drive Jellyland’s # 1 Ford, a former NASCAR Cup Series driver, and is expected to compete for the Rookie of the Year award. You can also spot 18-year-old Chandler Smith, a Toyota development driver who is also running a full schedule. Smith will drive Kyle Bosch Motorsports, so he must have a fast truck and be a frequent competitor. Smith won nine ARCA races in the last season three and has eight of the five best races in 16 series starting with the NASCAR Truck Series. Which NASCAR Truck Series drivers are favorite in Daytona?
