How to make peanut butter brownies
Start by preparing the chocolate cake base. This can be done the day before to save time if you wish.
For a 3-ingredient peanut butter filling, cream together 6 tablespoons of peanut butter and regular butter (like Melt Organic for a vegan peanut butter cake) with 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar or erythritol. If it’s too thick, add 1/2 teaspoon milk of your choice.
Spread the filling over the brownies.
It’s optional, but I also like melting 3 ounces of chocolate chips with 1/2 teaspoon oil and swirling or smoothing this over everything, then chill in the refrigerator or freezer for a few minutes until the chocolate hardens.
The resulting delicious treat is chewy, soft, dense, and fruity peanut butter, and peanut butter!

Peanut butter filling

- 1 1/2 cup Powdered sugar or erythritol
- 1 1/2 tsp Favorite milk
Chocolate coating (optional)
- 3 ounce Chocolate chips or a broken chocolate bar
- 1/2 tsp oil

Bake the brownies according to the recipe instructions. Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Make sure the butter and peanut butter are soft, then blend all of the filling ingredients together until completely smooth. (I used a Hand blender For smoother results, but technically you can use a fork if you are very patient.) Spread the brownies. If desired, carefully melt the chocolate, stir in oil, brush the layer of peanut butter, and freeze until firm. View nutrition facts
