This sausage and pepper bread is a stuffed and rolled pizza. It’s so delicious that you’ll want to make it over and over again! I’ve partnered with DeLallo for the perfect sausage-stuffed bread recipe to feed the crowd. I’m always Delallo Pizza Dough Set Stocked in my pantry so I can make pizza at any time without having to run out of dough to buy dough.
The Delallo Pizza Dough Set It uses 00 flour, and it comes with a bag of yeast, so all you have to do is add enough water for a pizza.
How to make pizza dough using Delallo’s Pizza Dough Kit
- Combine the flour mixture and the package of yeast that came with the kit in a large mixing bowl with 1 cup of lukewarm water. Stir with a fork until the dough begins to form.
- Knead by hand for three minutes or until the dough is soft.
- Place in an oiled bowl and cover for 45 minutes, until the dough rises.
How to reheat in forward condition
You can make this stuffed Italian bread pre-cooked and undercooked for 10 or 15 minutes, then reheat when you’re ready to serve. Simply cover them with aluminum foil and place in the oven until fully heated.
Differences:
- Swap Italian chicken sausage for turkey sausage or even ground turkey seasoned with Italian herbs. You can also stuff the bread with turkey pepperoni.
- Make it dairy-free by omitting the cheese.
- I like Arrabbiata Sauce with Spicy Tomatoes by Delallo Because it’s hot and delicious, but if you don’t like spicy food, you can use any marinara, or my Homemade marinara sauce recipe.
- Use the entire batch of pizza dough to double this recipe and make 2 breads.
