Canadian online e-commerce giant Shopify is investing $30 million in Israeli unicorn company Yotpo, which has developed software for e-commerce platforms. The Shopify investment, which has a market capitalization of $185 billion on the New York Stock Exchange, is part of a strategic investment between Yotpo and Shopify “to develop innovative marketing solutions that help brands deepen customer relationships.” The announcement of the strategic partnership did not reveal details about the Shopify investment, but sources close to the matter said the amount of the investment was $30 million.
