A mixed berry juice bowl with oats is the perfect combination for a sweet and savory breakfast. Cooked oatmeal makes it more creamy and adds extra fiber. I used frozen strawberries, raspberries, and raspberries, but you can use any combination of berries you like. Are juice bowls healthy?

Yes, juices are generally healthy, but it does depend on what’s in it! The main thing is to watch your serving sizes, sugar and fat content. This smoothie bowl contains oats, bananas, berries, and milk and comes for less than 200 calories per serving. I usually eat this with eggs or cheese on the side for an extra protein. You can also add a scoop of protein powder if desired. No need to add sugar, the fruit sweetens it just as it is.

Meal preparation tips

I always keep ripe bananas in the freezer to make smoothies. After they are ripe, I cut them into strips and affix to the bags the word “banana” and the date. When I’m ready to have a smoothie, I put it in the blender.

This smoothie bowl recipe starts with cooked oats. To prepare the meal, you can cook a batch of oatmeal and refrigerate it for up to five days.
