I almost got dizzy when I see my bananas really brown on the kitchen counter. That means I’ll be making something out of bananas! Whether that Banff pieAnd the Banana bread with cinnamon Or the insanely delicious banana pies, Love It! These muffins are perfect for a quick breakfast of snacks. Packed with flavor and easy to assemble, you can have it in and out of the oven in no time.

I love it when I find a recipe for my kids to eat. This is one of those recipes. Cakes are the best! Instead of taking an hour to bake a loaf of bread, I could take 20 minutes to prepare individual servings in a muffin pan. It makes waiting to eat them more tolerable. Give them enough time to cool down a little and then butter them up, so yummy!

Healthy ingredients for banana pies

These are all components you may have in stock right now. I always love to have these essential nutrients on hand so that I can make these pies or other goodies whenever I need or want to!

  • banana: Overripe and mashed
  • an egg: Use a very large or very large egg.
  • Vanilla extract: The perfect free flavor of banana.
  • ghee: Adds moisture to cakes.
  • Brown sugar: It adds a little sweetness but will also help make the cakes nice and moist.
  • White sugar: White sugar adds sweetness and helps it to be soft and tender.
  • Flour: I used flour for all purposes, and the works not bleached too.
  • baking soda: This is one of the leavening factors that will give your banana muffins rise.
  • baking powder: Another leavening agent needed for thin cakes.
  • salt: Balances salt and enhances flavors.
  • cinnamon: Best spice that can be added to banana muffins, they are very good.

  2. mix up: In a large bowl, whisk together banana, eggs, brown and white sugar, vanilla, and melted butter.
  3. Collecting: In a different bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
  4. Put together: Mix dry ingredients with wet ingredients.
  5. Mixture: Fill each muffin ¾ full with the mixture.
  6. Bread: Bake for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center of the cakes.

Mix the wet and then dry ingredients and place the mixture in the muffin molds.

Tips for easy cakes!

Let’s face it, banana muffins beat banana bread almost every time, just because they’re faster and delicious. Don’t lose flavor, just extra time!

  • banana: The ripe the banana, the better the flavor. It is also easiest to mash brown, ripe bananas, then ripe green bananas. If you know you want to make them and the banana is not fully ripe, you can throw it into a brown paper bag for a day. If you need to ripen them at the moment, put the banana with the peel on a cookie sheet and put it in a 300 degree oven. When the peels turn black, they are ready to use. Let them cool down a little and mash them away.
  • Do not over-blend: When the waffles are not light and fluffy but are short and dense, it is usually due to over-mixing. If you are afraid of over-mixing, mix it up by hand.
  • Make additions: Trust me, this first batch of banana muffins will quickly go away! Make a double batch and freeze add-ons for snacks or breakfast on the way.
  • Freezing and Storage: Keep pies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days. Freeze in a freezer bag for up to 2 months. Thaw at room temperature or heat in the microwave.

Use this banana cake recipe as a base and then get creative with it.

  • Nuts: Chopped walnuts or walnuts add flavor and texture:
  • chocolate: Banana and chocolate are a perfect combination. Use mini chocolate chips, regular chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips, or even peanut butter chips!
  • else: Stir in oats, flaxseeds, raisins, blueberries, or grated coconut.
  • Streusel: This quick and easy streusel is whipped and topped before baking to add extra sweetness and crunch.
