The Israeli surgical intelligence company, Amnesty International, raises $ 15.5 million

Israeli company Theator announced its surgical intelligence platform for artificial intelligence today that it has completed a $ 15.5 million Series A financing round, led by Insight Partners, with new investor Blumberg Capital, and existing investors including NFX, StageOne Ventures, KdT Ventures and iAngels. Notable individual investors including 23andMe Co-founder and CEO Anne Wojcicki, former Netflix CPO Neil Hunt, and Zebra Medical Vision co-founder Eyal Jura also participated in the tour. Theator will use the tour to expand business operations and partnerships with US service providers, expand its R&D team and cement its position as a leading provider of AI-powered surgical intelligence solutions to improve surgeons’ performance. Theator has raised $ 18.5 million so far. The AI-powered Theator platform relies on smart annotations and cutting-edge video analytics technology, which extracts and annotates key moments from surgical procedures, enabling surgeons to review operations and gain detailed insights within minutes. By identifying the most important surgical steps, events, milestones, and final decisions, Theator technology simplifies pre-operative preparation and post-operative review and evaluation process, significantly increasing surgeons’ performance, efficiency, and productivity.
