It can be difficult to manage a healthy relationship with alcohol when you are largely unemployed, do a lot of warnings, feel anxious, and still in a global pandemic. I am, of course, referring to myself, but needless to say, a lot of people are rethinking How and how often do they drink now.
Fortunately, there are a lot of products out there to help the alcoholics among us. journalist Julia Bainbridge Published a non-alcoholic cocktail book, Good drinks Last year I launched a the news Delve more into the topic. Drink makers like Standardized fermentation And the Hella Collection Co. Serve wine-free bevs with a bite. Even in New York City there Whole store Designed to store beer, wine and more – without alcohol.
Lately, when I find myself craving a ritual pouring cold drinks into fancy cutlery, I turn to these newly launched products Wine agents From a Canadian brand of vinegar called acid League. Each month they introduce three new flavors, available as a one-time or part-of-subscription order. And while none of the February triple bottles I tried tasted as much as wine to me, the no-work experience was quite distinctive.
Proxies are made from juice, tea, spices, and myrrh, and are presented in graceful bottles with lovely pictorial labels and colorful wax closures. I described my favorite flavor as “Macintosh apples are intertwined with maple syrup, spruce tips, labrador tea and spicy rice for a spring outing.” It had all the complexity usually limited to booze, with a delicious lychee-like flavor that was more interesting than other non-alcoholic drinks I had tried.
It should be noted that while proxies mimic Experience From pouring out wine and drinking it, they don’t claim to replicate a certain type of wine perfectly (they have their own good things). So if you’re looking for a more realistic trick out of wine, this product probably won’t do it for you. But if you’ve been open to trying different from the other non-alcoholic options out there, and you’re looking to be more aware of your wine consumption, then you’ve come across it. Like the best relationships, the Acid League is inquisitive, ever-changing, and respects your boundaries.
