Trevor Bauer speaks for the first time since accusations of assault: ‘I can no longer be silent’

Trevor Power on Saturday made his first public statements since news emerged in late June that he was under investigation for assault charges. He also alleged that the woman at the center of the newspaper report harassed and physically assaulted him before trying to extort millions of dollars, and followed up with screenshots of text messages, allegedly between him and the woman. – Agents Jon Fetterwolf and Rachel Loba (the former is also his attorney), claiming that he and the woman were in a consensual relationship from 2016-19 that Bauer eventually broke up. They also claimed that the woman’s allegations of abuse were “categorically false” in a statement sent to the Washington Post, which reported that the woman dropped the protection order six weeks after it was filed.
