This classic recipe for healthy vegan banana bread is incredibly tender and delicious, and it absolutely doesn’t require eggs or dairy!

Welcome your new favorite vegetarian breakfast.
Seriously, it is Which – which Hassan.
In the three years since it was first made, I have served banana bread to no fewer than fifteen non-vegetarian friends and family members, always with great reviews and multiple recipe requests!
People are always shocked when they discover that a natural vegan recipe containing such healthy ingredients can taste moist, fluffy, and delicious.

With two full cups of mashed banana packaged in the recipe, this simple vegan banana bread is filled with rich banana flavor.
I sent the recipe to a friend a few weeks ago, who prepared it for her husband and kids and said they decided it was the best banana bread they had ever tasted, vegan or not!
Or here is a vegan chocolate version:
Banana bread ingredients
Flour: A vegan banana loaf works with spelled flour, oatmeal, or plain white flour all-purpose, and there is also a low-carb almond flour option tied to the recipe.
Substituting whole wheat flour or whole wheat flour will result in thicker loaves with a firmer texture, but it still works technically. I have not yet tried all gluten-free items, nor do I recommend coconut flour here.
the milk: With so many dairy-free milks on the market, feel free to use whatever you have on hand. I usually buy almond milk or coconut milk, but soy, macadamia, and cashew milk Oat milkOr hemp milk is fine, too.
Sweetening: Baking calls for the use of a granular sweetener, such as regular sugar, coconut sugar, cane sugar, turbinado sugar, or xylitol without sugar.
For refined sugar-free banana bread, try this one Healthy banana bread.
the oil: This can be vegetable oil, sunflower, or melted coconut oil. Or substitute an equal amount of peanut butter, almond butter, apple juice, vegan yogurt, preferred milk, or extra mashed bananas for a low-fat, oil-free option.
extra jobs: The best part about the recipe is the ease of customization. Add half a teaspoon of cinnamon or a small pinch of cardamom, half a cup of small chocolate chips, chopped walnuts or pecans, grated coconut, raisins, or dried blueberries.

Banana bread made without eggs
This quick bread is an all-natural, egg-free recipe that will rise beautifully thanks to the baking powder and you don’t even need any chia or Flax eggs.
However, if you want to add ground flax flour for more fiber and nutrition, simply stir 1-2 tablespoons into the mixture before baking.

How to make vegan banana bread
Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan and set aside. In a large mixing bowl, stir all the dry ingredients well, then stir wet to form a mixture.
(I like to collect the wet ingredients first in a separate bowl to ensure the batter is mixed evenly, but technically you can make banana bread in one bowl if you prefer.)
Place the mixture in a loaf tray and bake on a central oven rack for 48 minutes. In my oven it is always light, fluffy and cooked after this time, but if you live in a very humid climate or on a rainy day (or if your oven is not calibrated) your oven may need a few more minutes of baking before inserting a toothpick in the middle Banana loaf comes out mostly clean.
Let it cool down, then turn sideways with a knife and the loaf should come out immediately. If you can wait, I recommend loose-fitting coverage overnight, as some of the excess moisture will evaporate and the flavors deepen, so they’re sweeter and better the next day.
For freshness, it is best to store it in the refrigerator after a day.
Eat regular food or frost with Coconut butterOr vanilla cream, or Vegan cream cheese.
If there are any leftovers after 3-4 days, they can be shredded and frozen, with parchment paper between each slice, in a Pyrex glass jar or plastic container for a month or so. Defrost frozen slices before eating.
For a complete, healthy breakfast, try serving it with Tofu scramble.
