The Little League World Series is underway with 16 teams from across the United States coming to Williamsport, Pennsylvania, to face this year’s championship. The United States, which will be the only country to have teams this year, has seen its states win each of the past two series, the nation’s longest winning streak since winning five in a row from 2005 to 2009. With no international teams competing this year, the United States will be crowned Another champion – albeit with a main star – in the first World Junior League Championships since 2019.
