they say Everyone has two ages: your real age and your spiritual age. for our family…
At 7, Anton was secretly 16, loved making and wearing TikTok videos. Ramen noodle tops. At bedtime, he’ll catch me up in school gossip – who’s a crush, who’s a quick runner, who’s dressed slap bracelet – And ask me how old you must be to go to a concert.
Eleven year old Toby’s inner self is a wonderful middle aged father. He enjoys booking rental cars, finding good Airbnbs, and organizing logistics trips. He loves nothing more than to make a solid plan for the day, and he knows the names of all our neighbors – even more than I do! (I’ll say, “Shoot, what’s Tallulah’s mother’s name?” and he’ll lean over and whisper, “Jennifer.”)
What is the spiritual age of your child? And the Which one is yours??
Notice Toby and Anton in conversation, And the The little things that fascinate children.
