With family reunions and a new refugee ceiling put in place, Biden is starting to shake off Trump’s immigration legacy

In some cases, supporters have had to run radio advertisements in Mexico and Central America. Saif wrote that the reunion on Tuesday would mark “the beginning of a mass transfer of fathers who were deported by one US president and returned by another. In total, more than 1,000 families are expected to be reunited.”
